I am a professional massage therapist in practice for 20 years in the South Bay and have developed a wide blend of techniques from deep tissue to sports massage, and including Swedish, Esalen and Hawaiian styles that I enjoy incorporating into a custom 60 or 90 minute full body experience.
I graduated from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balance (IPSB) an Accredited College of Massage & Holistic Health in 1998. I also have taught restorative yoga and have also continued my education as a licensed and active Registered Nurse. I know the body and it’s functions well which lends itself to me creating the best massage for you!
Creating a safe, healing environment for complete relaxation and rejuvenation is my forte. I specialize music playlists for clients and use a wide variety of Young Living Oils along with fragrance free massage cream designed for sensitive skin. Customizing a taylor-made massage just for you or a loved one is my goal.
I believe that everybody is different and therefore each persons' massage needs are different. Being present to those injuries or issues that you may be experiencing, allows me listen to you and your body to help you to feel as though you have reached Nirvana through massage, leaving all troubles, aches, pains and stressors behind.
I offer gift certificates for all occasions - Birthday, Graduation, Congratulations, Retirement, Anniversary, Bereavement or Just Because and can customize those as well as offering packages for those seriously committed to their health through massage.
Don’t hesitate to call if you have any further questions… I look forward to meeting you soon!
Kelly Timko is certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)and a certified Functional Movement Specialist through Functional Movement Screening (FMS). She works with clients to assess their movement patterns to identify imbalances. Everyone’s body will undergo compensation patterns for weaknesses and imbalances, and those compensations can lead to dysfunction, which leads to pain. Identifying and correcting these imbalanced movement patterns improves mobility, decreases pain, and reduces the likelihood of injury.
Important aspects for improving overall health and fitness include strength training, flexibility, agility and endurance. So in addition to FMS, I provide focused personal training to guide people through safe, effective programs of fitness training. Together we will put together a plan to meet your specific goals and needs. We utilize a variety of exercise tools in a private, comfortable space.
Sessions are available for 30 or 60 minutes. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
